Trickster Podcast

Post-migrant Society and Contemporary Music

“The Trickster Podcast is a musical form- and shape-shifter.”

JazzEcho, 2021

In the Trickster Podcast, members and friends of the orchestra discuss topics related to post-migrant society and contemporary music.

To celebrate the Trickster Orchestra’s first ECM album release in April 2021, the orchestra has launched its own podcast. Witty as the orchestra itself, it opens a polyphonic and shape-shifting mosaic. It introduces ensemble members, lets instruments speak, and provides insights into the orchestra’s artistic approaches and social objectives in German, English, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, and maybe even languages unknown to humanity.

Following the release, 10 episodes are released every Friday starting April 30, 2021. They can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, and on our website. After, new episodes will be released in the context of future projects of the orchestra.
