Composition Award for the Trickster Orchestra

The artistic directors and composers Cymin Samawatie and Ketan Bhatti were awarded the German Music Authors’ Award 2023 by GEMA.

The jury noted: “As the Trickster Orchestra, Cymin Samawatie and Ketan Bhatti weave different musical languages and traditions into powerful, modern soundscapes. Their work builds bridges for the music of our present.”
